Position Summary:

The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks applications for a non-tenure track faculty position. This is a one year appointment for the 2017-18 academic year. The Mechanical Engineering Department offers programs leading to BS and MS degrees and participates in the College of Engineering’s PhD degree program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses. Duties will vary with the specific courses being taught.

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or a closely allied discipline is strongly preferred; master’s degree required. The applicant must be committed to excellence in engineering education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience preferred.
