Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary:

Motivated student who wants to work on a cutting edge research project funded by the US Navy. The project involves embedded software development, in which the student will have to work on an embedded microcontroller platform to do software development, as well as use laboratory measurement equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers to troubleshoot and fix issues in electrical circuits.

Requirements:

Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) the following would be required.

1. Computer programming.
2. Basic courses in electrical engineering.
3. Understanding of digital logic circuits (basic logic operators as well as higher level digital circuits such as registers, counters and memory)
