Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary:

Independent Research with Dr. Weston.
The duties will include conducting field research in salt-marshes along the East Coast of the United States and processing samples in the laboratory. Field work will be physically demanding. The position will be primarily based at Villanova University, but will require travel and extended stays at field stations. Students will design and conduct independent research.

Physical Demands Summary:

This position requires willingness and ability to conduct field research in wetland systems, including sometimes physically demanding conditions that require carrying equipment in wetlands, and working in hot and cold temperatures in muddy and buggy conditions. This position will also require occasional extended work hours to meet research objectives.

Wage Rate: $10.00
